UPDATED **December 2011**

I had this blog running from 2008 to 2009 when I was knee deep in Affiliate Marketing.  I nearly made it to $1000 per month in Ebay Partner Networking Earnings before accidentally being dumped by the program.  Thankfully they reconsidered, but in the few months between being dumped an re-instated, I had sold all my niche websites!!!!  So, I took this blog down and went back to “normal life” with a job.

In December 2011, I decided to resurrect this blog so you may notice a 2.5 year gap in posting.  Thankfully I had a spare copy of the WordPress database and was able to re-purchase this domain name (which still had a few backlinks) and here I am.I love learning about internet business, search engine optimization, affiliate programs, advertising, WordPress etc. You may find that I’m somewhat sarcastic or humorous in my posts. I try to be serious, but sarcasm just comes out; I can’t help it!

Male, 57, love long walks on the beach, and sunsets, hiking, romantic movies and dinners by candlelight.

OK, now really, I’m a male, 33 and none of the above is true. My name is Jonathon, I’m married to my very best friend.  We have no kids yet, but that could change soon as we are in the process of adopting.

What really makes me tick is my faith – I am a Christ follower, a.k.a. A Christian. I decided to write a blog to share my random thoughts on life, money, making money online, jobs, news or whatever “random” thought crossed my mind. I’m going to test out different ideas to earn money online and I’ll tell you about them as time passes. I’d love to be able to earn a full-time living on the web, but it appears that Bill Gates and the Google guys have scooped up all the big money. But really, there’s more to life than just making money.

My background is in business and I graduated from college with a Business Diploma. Following college I bought a retail business and operated if for 2.5 years before realizing that I was slowly going broke. Once I sold the business I started working in the Financial Services and Insurance industry and was in that industry off and on for 10 years. I have worked for a three major Financial Services companies, a major Group Insurance company and one of Canada’s largest banks.  Somewhere in there I also worked for a charity for a year in fundraising.  Needless to say, I’ve had a lot of jobs.
